My wife and i are not dancers by any means, but we wanted to have a special dance for our wedding day. Skylar was an incredible instructor. We had no experience in dancing but she was able to teach and coordinate a dance for us, with spins and twirls! She helped us decide between 2 songs with a dancable rhythm and taught us in small sections that made the dance easier to manage. She was great at giving feedback and was always positive and complimenting us. Although i was looking forwards to dancing in front of a crowd the least, this was the most unexpectedly fun part of our wedding!
Great studio. Instructor for Bachata was really nice and very helpful. He had great insight and taught the class at a great pace for a 50 minute course. We enjoyed so much that we decided to sign up for the 10 week course as well.
I’m pretty frustrated… I bought a package of 5 lessons over the phone and was never informed of their policy that those are only good for 90 days. Had I known, I would’ve never purchased that package.
I’m actually pretty sure they changed their policy because of some other conversations that I had with them…
Either way… feels like a loss of a lot of money and will probably try to dispute the charges on my credit card.
Great little local business. The classes are beginner-friendly and easy to jump into. Staff is welcoming, atmosphere is warm and fun.
Friendly staffs and classmates. Started with Salsa since March 2023. I joined other dance classes at DF: Bachata, West Coast swing, drop-in classes (Rumba, Cha Cha, fox trot, country swing, and tango). So worth your time and money to for the unlimited membership. Highly recommend DF dance to everyone I know. I learned so much and still continue to learn. Dancing has helped me with my posture and tone my body.
Wonderful teachers with a great variety of dance styles. Practice Labs have been included as part of the class purchase that gives extra time for practice with the teachers there to ask questions. Bootcamps are also a wonderful refresher as well as catch up if classes were missed.
I love our instructor, Chi! She is so encouraging, sweet, kind and easy to learn from. She's made our wedding dance lesson experience amazing.
Great place to start any style of dance. I really enjoy their Saturday boot camps to try different styles or get a refresher. Their Latin socials are my favorite in the valley too.
Special shout-out to Derek one of the best instructors in the valley, highly recommend any class he teaches! I hope they make barcoast swing a regular thing.
